We offer riding lessons in english hunter, jumper and western. Specializing in beginner riders, we can take you to the next level. However, for those already accomplished, we have horses to meet your requirements in hunter, jumper and western as well.
For those wanting to show, we compete at local level english and western shows as well as at the Trillium and in some cases "A" Level. Visit our show page!!
Lessons: Our lessons are small (usually not more than 3 at a time) most cases, only one or two.
Age: 6- ?
Cost: $35.00/lesson or $125.00 for 4 lessons (paid in advance).
Requested Private Lesson: $50.00 /lesson or $175.00 for 4 lessons (paid in advance).
Time: 45 minutes to an hour on the horse, depending on age of child, weather conditions, etc. (Usually 2 hours at the farm).
Times Available: flexible
What you need: Long pants - no shorts, and a pair of shoes or boots with a minimum 1/2" heel, gloves if the weather is cold.
We will provide helmets, however it is recommended that you supply your own helmet if choosing to pursue riding horses longer than a couple of lessons. Please note, it is mandatory that you wear a helmet when riding our horses regardless of your age.
Younger Children:
While our lessons start at the age of 6, we will consider younger children if their coordination and ability to follow instruction is suitable. Otherwise for those children under the age of 6, we will gladly provide pony rides at a cost of $25.00/ride. This is usually a 1/2 hour ride being led by an instructor.
